“I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.” (Psalm 84:1, 10) and “What a beautiful home…One day spent in your house, this beautiful place of worship, beats thousands spent on Greek island beaches.” (The Message) Objective: To encourage, welcome, and provide a warm, comfortable, friendly greeting for all guests and members before, during and after the worship service and to continue that warmth and friendliness by helping all and responding to their needs. Just what is an Ambassador? Funny you should ask. The Welcoming and Inclusion Team believes that the role of Ambassador is vital to our being a truly welcoming and inviting congregation The Ambassador’s objective is to encourage, welcome, and provide a warm, comfortable, friendly greeting for all guests and members before, during and after the worship service. We continue that warmth and friendliness by helping all and responding to their needs. The Ambassador is often the first face new members and visitors see as they enter our church. We welcome all to join us in this vital ministry and training is provided. Usually, the Ambassador serves once a month. Questions? Please contact either the Rev. Mary Ann Brody, Allan O’Grady Cuseo, or Michael Davis. |
