Rector Search – Phase 2: Parish Assessment

The Rector Search Committee has entered Phase 2 of the search process: Parish Assessment. This is a time of listening, reflection, and discernment as we gather input from across our congregation.

 

The goal of this phase is to better understand:

• Who we are as a parish today
• Our strengths and challenges
• Where we feel called to go in the future

 

Input will directly shape our Parish Profile and help guide the search for our next rector.

How You Can Participate

There are two important ways for you to take part in this process:

Parish Survey

We are conducting a parish-wide survey using a tool provided by Holy Cow Consulting.

Launch Date: April 25, 2026
Time to Complete: Approximately 20–30 minutes

How to Access:

• A survey link will be sent via email
• Paper copies are available upon request

Confidentiality:
All responses are confidential and will be compiled into a summary report.

What We Ask:
Please take time to complete the survey thoughtfully. Every response helps ensure we hear from the full congregation.

Parish Town Halls

We will also host a series of town hall conversations following Sunday services. These gatherings provide an opportunity to share your thoughts and listen to others in the parish.

Each session will focus on a different aspect of parish life and future direction.

Why This Matters

This process is about listening to the entire congregation. The more voices we hear, the more accurately we can represent our parish as we seek our next rector.

Participation will help us:

• Identify key themes and priorities
• Reflect on our shared experiences
• Discern the qualities we seek in future leadership
